I’ve even moved it since where I originally set it up didn’t enough sun. Luckily I also got the frost cover and the spinning base so the plants are doing well. I love this thing! I ordered 50 bare root strawberries and planted them all in the Leaf - only a few were two plants per pocket. I highly recommend this planter to any fellow gardeners out there! And the best part? It's so sturdy that it even withstood strong winds during recent storms. The GreenStalk vertical planter has truly made gardening so much easier and enjoyable for me. What's even better is that I didn't have to worry about pulling weeds out of the ground. With this planter, I was able to grow a whopping 126 bush bean plants in 42 pockets, all within a 19" wide x 56" tall space. I recently discovered the 7-Tier GreenStalk Leaf Vertical Planter, and it has been a game-changer in my gardening journey. 5 7 Tier GreenStalk Leaf Vertical Planter.I tell everyone about these bc that's how much I love them! Also the customer service, & shipping can't be beat. From peppers, tomatoes, flowers, greens, beans, squash, etc it has handled it well. This has maximized my growing space and allowed me to grow way more that traditional gardening would have allowed. I have 14 originals, & 4 leafs that I have built up over the past few years. I am surrounded by woods so my growing space is very limited. If you live in the ideal growing area with pretty patios and you don't care if you get a lot of produce, then this is a fun planter to have. It was a pretty expensive mistake to make. I was hoping that this would replace the multiple hanging planters I have had my strawberries in for years, but it isn't working. I was also forced to rig up a netting using the extension rings to keep the birds out of the berries, but because one isn't available that would actually work, it is very difficult to access the pockets to even pick the fruit and to turn the planter to the sun. The pocket openings are so shallow that the plants have no room to grow big. These require more than the drip system inside to water. Because of dry weather for a while there just wasn't enough water to saturate all of the pockets even though we had a system feeding water while we were gone. I planted strawberries which took off at first, but now they have seriously wilted and become pretty sad especially on the bottom tiers because we found out while away on a trip that the water did not filter down thru the tiers as expected. Got this and it took a lot more soil than expected to fill this. I also just bought a frost cover for it so hopefully I can keep it going throughout the entire winter because lettuce prices at the grocery store have gotten outrageous. I water my Greenstalk once or twice a week with half strength, higher nitrogen fertilizer (Fox Farm Grow Big) and they are all thriving! I put it in a spot that gets morning sun and afternoon shade because it’s still in the 80’s during the day where I live, but will be relocating it to a much sunnier spot when the weather cools. I planted all my Kale and Lettuce in this planter about a month ago and they are doing so well. Sold separately: GreenStalk Bases and GreenStalk Plant Support
